Duties as Senior Accountant may include but are not limited to:

• Review daily transactions (including advance request, payment vouchers and accounting entries) prepared by the accountants.
• Check and report for loan, advance salary record in excel and loan books
• Perform site inspection by travelling to project sites based on needs.
Develop and maintain a uniform system for the cash flow statement, income statement, balance sheet and retained earnings statement of the company.
• Analyze and report any inventory differences and report to Corporate Chief Accountant
• Control and monitor of account receivable and account payable schedules of suppliers, contractors and tenants
• Check monthly report and fixed assets list prepared from accountants for all business units in monthly and provide record other financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve any issues.
• Assist to restructuring, policies & procedures’ set up, implementation process of new business units or finance Department
• Liaise with business teams, provide regular / ad hoc analysis for decision making and performance evaluation.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close and report to HOD
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Accounting functions of the Organization.
• Ensure compliance with company’s policies and internal control requirements.
• Assist in the development, enhancement and implementation of reporting systems
• Handle all finance and accounting information in a confidential manner
• Perform all other ad hoc duties requested by HOD and Management


Education and job qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
• Professional qualification in Accounting professional bodies
• 5 years or above working experience
• LCCI, ACCA or other professional accounting bodies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good command of English and Burmese
• Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, reporting research results
• Must be initiative with strong sense of responsibility
• Must be initiative and able to work long term
• Must be eager to learn and self-motivated.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of management
• Strong leadership and sense of ownership, with the ability to have hands-on monitoring of project status and coach subordinates closely
• A good team player and open to new ideas.
