Power Engineer cum Cluster Lead (Yangon)
Description
• Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all telecom sites within the cluster
• Responsible for operational cost reduction and optimization
• Monitor the site performance such as uptime, RMS systems, fuel efficiency, SLA compliance, and fault resolution time
• Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure timely resolution of faults and escalation handling on proper grounding, lightning protection and grid related issues
• Carry out energy audits, CPH testing and ensuring all field supervisors and technicians strictly adhere to recommended energy-efficient solutions
• Supervise and perform complete power rollouts such as EOLs, Infra Relocations, Operational Emergency, Co-location upgrades, new B2S sites
• Control the installation, swapping, and software upgrades of all power-related hardware, routers, controllers, modems, relays, and fuel sensors
• Resolve assigned power equipment tasks promptly while ensuring timely reporting and closure of Work Orders (WOs)
• Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by enforcing safety standards, legal regulations, and site access protocols
• Conduct regular site audits and reports
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in telecom power operations or cluster management
• Strong knowledge of generators, electrical systems, DC power and solar systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to travel to assigned regions
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in telecom power operations or cluster management
• Strong knowledge of generators, electrical systems, DC power and solar systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to travel to assigned regions
