Assistant Procurement Manager
Description
-Identify, evaluate, and develop new reliable Suppliers and Subcontractors, and maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL).
-Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team to prepare and execute Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts.
-Monitor and expedite long-lead items to ensure timely delivery to the project site.
-Coordinate with the Site Engineering Team regarding material delivery schedules and transportation requirements.
-Inspect materials to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve any damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials.
-Review Subcontractor claims and contract variations/amendments and ensure proper verification and documentation.

Requirements
-A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or another relevant field is required.
-A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in construction materials procurement, including 1–2 years of Asistant Manager experience.
-Good knowledge and understanding of construction materials and raw materials.
-Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Odoo) and MS Excel.
-Strong negotiation skills.
-Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
-High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
-A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in construction materials procurement, including 1–2 years of Asistant Manager experience.
-Good knowledge and understanding of construction materials and raw materials.
