Oversea Education Counsellor
Description
- Consult one-on-one sessions to assess students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and financial budgets.
- Recommend suitable countries (e.g., UK, Canada, Singapore etc..), institutions, and courses that align with the student's profile.
- Assist students with application processes and ensure timely submission of documents.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital records, including general registers, transfer certificates, and visa letters.
- Assist with visa documentation, mock interviews, and submission procedures to ensure successful visa outcomes and guidance on travel arrangements.
- Provide support to students post-admission, including accommodation and orientation information.
- Represent the institution at educational fairs, school visits, and open house events.
- Coordinate with foreign university delegates and admission boards regarding application status, scholarships, and offers.
- Prepare admission reports to help management analyze recruitment trends and meet enrollment targets.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline. (A degree in counseling, communications, or business is highly preferred).
- Typically 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in international student counseling, overseas admissions, or the education sector.
- Understanding of international education systems, eligibility criteria, and evolving visa regulations
- Ability to convert leads into enrollments while maintaining a supportive, consultative approach.
- High attention to detail for handling sensitive legal documents and tracking multiple admission deadlines.
- Typically 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in international student counseling, overseas admissions, or the education sector.
