Senior Accountant (Trading)
Description
• Oversee daily accounting activities related to trading and distribution transactions.
• Review and confirm daily cash and bank receipts and payments for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory movements between warehouses, branches, retail, whole sales points.
• Verify sales invoices, customer receipts, discounts, FOC and commissions.
• Prepare and review supporting documents to ensure completeness for month-end closing.
• Assist in preparation of management reports such as sales summaries, receivables aging, and cost analysis.
• Check the general ledger and cash book to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Support the Chief Accountant and Deputy Chief Accountant in coordinating audits matter, responding to audit queries, and financial report preparation.
• Guide and support junior accounting staff as needed.
• Other assign duty by management.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred).
• Minimum 4-5years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and local tax regulations.
• Experience in trading and distribution accounting, including sales, receivables, inventory movement, and margin analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external auditors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
• High level of integrity and compliance with company policies.
• Can travel in local trip if require.
