Heavy Machinery Technician
Description
-To work under the instructions of heavy machinery maintenance supervisor
-Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on a range of machinery, with a primary focus on forklifts and wheel loaders.
-Perform lubrication, adjustments, and replacements of worn or damaged parts to prevent breakdowns.
-Specialize in the maintenance and repair of wheel loaders, including engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.
-Diagnose and address issues related to wheel loader performance and functionality.
-Specialize in the maintenance and repair of forklifts, including electric, propane, and diesel-powered units.
-Diagnose and address issues related to forklift hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
-Identify and resolve mechanical issues and malfunctions in wheel loaders and forklifts in a timely and efficient manner.
-Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
-Execute repairs on malfunctioning wheel loaders and forklifts by replacing defective parts.
-Coordinate with suppliers to procure replacement parts and maintain an inventory of critical spare parts.
-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance tasks, with a focus on wheel loader and forklift safety standards.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies related to equipment operation and maintenance.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of wheel loader and forklift maintenance activities.
-Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance interventions.
-Collaborate with the operations team to understand equipment requirements and address maintenance needs for wheel loaders and forklifts.
-Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities.
-Carrying out all activities related to 5S, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
-Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
-Awareness of ISO 9001 and personal hygiene
-Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with a focus on wheel loaders and forklifts.
-Strong knowledge of wheel loader and forklift systems, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical components.
-Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment.
-Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
-Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
-Data organization and Good communication skills in English.
-Familiar with the basics of MS Office.
-Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
-Must have Mechanical and Electrical knowledge as required.
-Awareness of ISO 9001 and personal hygiene
