Senior Accountant
Description
Manage and review daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported.
Review invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules.
Ensure proper accounting procedures and internal controls are followed.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Review supplier invoices and payment requests.
Monitor customer outstanding balances and collection status.
Conduct regular supplier and customer account reconciliations.
Follow up on discrepancies and outstanding balances.
Review daily cash and bank transactions.
Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements.
Review payment requests and supporting documents before processing.
Ensure proper recording of bank and cash transactions.
Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other management reports.
Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for management review.
Review accruals, prepayments, depreciation, provisions, and other adjustments.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Ensure all month-end transactions are properly recorded.
Ensure accounting records comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in cost control and expense monitoring.
Supervise and support Junior Accountants and accounting staff.
Review and strengthen internal accounting controls where necessary.
Support management in improving accounting processes and procedures.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification such as LCCI, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership and communication skills.
