Repair Center Assistant
Description
• Assist in the safe dismantling and scrapping of returned Diesel Generators (DG) and Power Equipment (PE) parts in accordance with company safety procedures
• Sort and segregate obsolete, damaged, and unusable metal parts and materials for harvesting, recycling, or disposal
• Support the inspection, cleaning, and testing of returned and harvested telecom power equipment and components to identify whether they are serviceable or faulty.
• Assist technicians in the maintenance, cleaning, handling, and basic repair activities of Lithium Battery systems
• Provide support to team members by preparing tools, moving heavy equipment, and setting up work areas for power equipment repair activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and service center environment
• Comply with all workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety boots, gloves, and other required safety gear
• Support workshop operations and contribute to achieving repair, harvesting, and refurbishment targets
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and housekeeping of tools, spare parts, and equipment
• Perform other workshop and technical support duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements
• High School Certificate or Technical or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or in a related field
• Fresh vocational graduates with mechanical training may also be considered
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in diesel engine servicing, generator maintenance, or mechanical workshop operations
• Basic knowledge of diesel generator components, engines, alternators, and mechanical tools
• Ability to understand technical instructions and basic communication skills
