Service Center Assistant
Description
• Assist DG Specialists in dismantling and assembling diesel generator engines and alternators
• Support engine overhauling, including cleaning, inspection, and replacement of engine components and after overhauling process
• Perform basic mechanical work under the supervision of DG specialist
• Clean diesel generator fuel tanks, base frames, canopies, radiators, and engine compartments before and after repairing
• Remove dirt, grease, oil, rust, and debris using appropriate cleaning tools and materials
• Assist in preparing generators for painting, modification, delivery, or inspection.
• Load and unload diesel generators, engines, alternators, spare parts, and workshop materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Assist in packing and preparing generators and components for transportation
• Maintain cleanliness of workshop equipment and work areas.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and proper storage of equipment
• Follow all workshop safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

Requirements
• High School Certificate or Technical or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or in a related field
• Fresh vocational graduates with mechanical training may also be considered
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in diesel engine servicing, generator maintenance, or mechanical workshop operations
• Basic knowledge of diesel generator components, engines, alternators, and mechanical tools
• Ability to understand technical instructions and basic communication skills
