Description

The Site Engineer will be responsible for:
• Supervising daily construction activities on site.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
• Verifying site dimensions against approved drawings, identifying discrepancies, and preparing site inspection and construction reports.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed according to the approved schedule.
• Coordinating with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
• Inspecting construction quality and ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures.
• Monitoring material usage and reporting shortages or wastage.
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Identifying site issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Attending client site inspections, recording all comments, instructions, concerns, and punch list items, and reporting them promptly to the Project Manager and Management for necessary action.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and company HSE policies.
• Assisting with project handover and defect rectification works.

Requirements

• B.E (Civil), AGTI (Civil), or equivalent qualification.
• Professional engineering registration or related certifications will be an advantage.
• PMP or Construction Management training is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in supervising reinforced concrete, finishing, and MEP coordination works.
• Ability to manage site manpower and subcontractors effectively.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional building projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
