Head Of Online Learning & Student Success
Description
GETC is seeking an experienced and capable ELT leader to lead the continued development and sustainable growth of our Online English Learning Programs.
This is not simply an administrative or timetable-management position.
It is a senior leadership role responsible for developing strong online instructors, improving students’ English proficiency and love of learning, strengthening parents’ confidence, and delivering measurable improvements across GETC’s online programs.
YOUR LEADERSHIP MISSION
Strong Instructors.
Engaged Students.
Confident Parents.
Measurable Progress.
Sustainable Online Growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the academic quality, teaching standards, and overall student experience across GETC’s Online ELT Programs.
• Lead, support, coach, and develop online instructors through trust, accountability, and professional competence.
• Conduct systematic online class observations and provide specific, constructive, and actionable feedback.
• Identify instructors’ strengths, performance gaps, and development needs, and implement appropriate coaching, mentoring, and professional development plans.
• Guide instructors in using effective online teaching methods, digital tools, and AI-supported practices to improve teaching and learning.
• Monitor each student’s attendance, participation, engagement, assessment results, and English language progress using reliable data and evidence.
• Identify learning difficulties, low engagement, frequent absences, and withdrawal risks early, and lead appropriate intervention and learning-support measures.
• Ensure that GETC’s promise of “100% Progress Guarantee and Love of Learning English” is meaningfully supported in every online classroom.
• Ensure compliance with GETC’s teaching standards, student-safeguarding requirements, emotional-safety principles, and professional conduct expectations.
• Lead a consistent parent-communication system through which parents receive clear and timely information about their children’s progress, strengths, development needs, and next steps.
• Work with relevant teams to improve parent satisfaction, student retention, re-enrollment, and referrals.
• Investigate the root causes of student disengagement, withdrawal, and non-renewal, and implement effective improvement and recovery actions.
• Collaborate with Academic, Operations, Marketing, and Recruitment Teams to strengthen the quality, performance, and sustainable growth of GETC’s online programs.
• Present weekly progress dashboards and monthly results reports showing measurable progress, challenges, actions taken, and outcomes achieved.
• Take ownership of measurable improvements in academic quality, instructor performance, student progress, parent experience, student retention, and sustainable enrollment growth.
WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU—
• Genuinely care about young learners’ English language development, emotional wellbeing, and learning experience.
• Can lead a team through professional competence, trust, support, and accountability—not through authority alone.
• Can identify instructors’ strengths and development needs and coach them toward measurable improvement.
• Are prepared to take ownership of student progress, instructor performance, and parent confidence.
• Focus on outcomes, progress, and measurable results—not merely completed activities.
• Can use data, evidence, and root-cause analysis to make sound decisions.
• Face challenges constructively and remain focused on solutions, execution, and follow-through.
• Lead with a growth mindset and actively support change, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Have strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Want to build the next stage of online English education together with GETC.
